A public hearing on the proposed budget for the 2026-2027 school year will be held at a regularly scheduled School Board of Directors board meeting held on June 11, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. The School Board of Directors will adopt an operating budget for the 2026-2027 school year. Copies of the budget summary will be available on the Stevenson-Carson School District website (scsd303.org) on June 1, 2026. Skamania County PUD No. 1 (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Carson Water Treatment Plant RFP 21-4020. Roto-Rooter inspected the line and determined it was a 4-inch PVC connection approximately 12 to 15 feet deep. The City received a proposal for a trenchless repair, however, it was later determined that the trenchless method would not be possible. The TV inspection and report can be provided upon request. Work must be completed on or before July 24, 2026. 2. Bid Security A certified check, money order, cashier’s check, or bid bond is required with each bid in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. No bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such a Bid Security. Bid securities of unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contract is awarded. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of North Bonneville. 3. Submission of Proposal Bidders are required to make their bids on the Bid Proposal form provided by the City of North Bonneville and return it along with the Bid Security. 4. Bidder Responsibility Criteria It is the intent of the City to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder. Before award, the bidder must meet the following criteria to be considered a responsible bidder: a) Be registered on the State of Washington Department of Enterprises (DES) Small Works Roster. 5. Signature A bid by a corporation or company shall include the printed name of the corporation or company and the printed name, title, and signature of the President, Secretary, or other officer authorized to bind the corporation or company. 6. Bid Results Bid results shall be emailed to each bidder on June 15, 2026. The successful bidder will have an official Notice of Award sent via mail. If, in the opinion of the City, all bids are unsatisfactory, it may reject all of them and re-advertise. In such a case, all bid securities shall be returned to the bidders. 7. Withdrawal of Proposal Proposals may only be withdrawn by written and signed request and only if such request is received prior to the opening of the bids. No bid will be received or considered after the time set for opening of the bids. 8. Execution of Contract The successful bidder must sign and return the Agreement and furnish the Performance Bond, Certificate of Insurance, and Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages within fourteen (7) days from the Notice of Award Date. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of said Bid Security. 9. Insurance & Liability The Contractor shall procure and maintain during the life of this contract such insurance as shall protect themselves and any subcontractor performing work covered by this contract from claims or damages for bodily injury, including death resulting therefrom as well as from claims for property damage, which may arise from operations under this contract, whether such operations are performed by themselves or by any subcontractor or by anyone directly employed by either of them. 10. Prevailing Wage The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project. Bidders are responsible to verify and use the most recent prevailing wage rates. The “Effective Date” for this project is the bid submittal time and date above.
